The first decorated with gold and silver takamaki-e on a dark wood ground with paulownia, the reverse with stylized chrysanthemum and plum blossoms, a removeable two-chamber compartment of dark wood in the interior; fitted with a glass ojime and a wood netsuke carved to resemble a pillow decorated en suite, with signature Kiko; the other with gold and brown takamaki-e and hiramaki-e on a brown lacquer ground of simulated wood with two ravens flying in front of the full moon, the reverse with falling cherry blossoms, the interior undecorated
