The first decorated in gold and silver takamaki-e with a falcon perched on a curtained stand, the curtain patterned with scrolling vines in togidashi sprinkled with kimpun, the reverse with a Chinese lion on a tall stand, both in gold takamaki-e, and the top of the stand inlaid in mother-of-pearl, the cord runners decorated with scrolling vines in gold hiramaki-e, the interior cases in nashiji; fitted with a bead ojime; the second decorated in gold takamaki-e with crabs and persimmons on a ground of sharkskin, the inner cases nashiji, fitted with a coral bead ojime
