Decorated in gold takamaki-e and hiramaki-e with an off-center roundel extending onto both sides with a stream flowing over a rocky landscape, the hills and clouds applied with kirigane, the surrounding area designed with a continuous scene of pine trees and clouds, the sky with hirame and kimpun, the interior in nashiji; fitted with an amber bead ojime and an ivory netsuke carved as a snail on a broken roof tile
