The rectangular inro decorated in gold and silver hiramaki-e and takakmaki-e on a kinji ground with Chao Shi Hsiung beneath a blossoming plum tree dreaming of a beauty who appears on the opposite side under the tree dressed in robes decorated with phoenixes and holding a fan of inlaid mother-of-pearl, the ground highlighted with nashiji, the inner cases decorated with erotic scenes rendered in iroe-e togidashi on a nashiji ground; fitted with a coral bead ojime and a lacquer manju netsuke in hiramaki-e, togidashi, hirame, and kirigane with a willow tree, bridge and stream
