Each with hinged ratcheted rectangular top with removable book-stop, above a drawer and four galleried shelves, on square legs with brass caps and castors, one with a pair of candle-slides to the sides, one with four legs spliced, one inscribed in ink '11.261', the other inscribed in ink '9626', and with chalk inscription to the underside '...Dower House', one bottom shelf probably replaced, the handles apparently original
