A large Chinese tapering vase with flaring neck
painted in underglaze blue and copper red with shaped panels of mythical beasts in rocky landscapes amongst smaller roundels ad leaf shaped panels of prunus, peonies, lotus, chrysanthemums and lingzhi, all on a cell pattern ground with scattered prunus blossom -- 26in. (66cms) high, underglaze blue Jiajing six character mark, 19th century.
