Lot Essay

This is a a very early copy of a history of the wars fought by the Prophet Muhammad and the first three Caliphs. It ends with a description of the events which surrounded the succession immediately after the Prophet's death.
The author was from Valencia. He was an eminent historian, muhaddith and poet.
