Of rounded form on flat foot, the interior with numerous lines of a continuous naskh inscription, a suspension loop in the centre

Lot Essay

The lengthy inscriptions contain a mixture of koranic verses and prayers with talismanic content. It appears to have been made and then subsequently been personalised; there are three gaps in the inscription in which a subsequent hand has added the name of the patron, one Fath 'Ali, in nasta'liq.
