The central Persian inscription reads: 'be ehtemam-e ostad hoseyn bzorg anjam yaft' (it was finished by the supervision of Ustad (master) Husayn, the elder). A number of signatures have been noted of Ustad Husayn Kirmani. It is interesting to have the confirmation in this inscription that there were two weavers of this name.
