The burgundy field with a counterposed design of spiralling tendrils issuing a wide variety of palmettes, flowering vine and serrated leaves inhabited by a number of running animals, in a shaded medium blue palmette and scrolling flowering tendril border with perching birds between tan palmette vine stripes, a kilim strip at each end, small areas of slightly corroded ivory, one very small damage in centre
