Portrait of Cosimo I de' Medici (1519-1574), bust-length, in an embroidered doublet with a fur wrap

This portrait shows the sitter at the age of forty and follows a much copied composition, the best extant version of which is generally considered to be that in the Galleria Sabauda, Turin (inv. no. 123).
