With nickel-finished highly jewelled two train lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, repeating on two hammers, glazed dust cover, gold cuvette with an oval panel depicting the discovery of America, surrounded by engraved star decoration on engine-turned background, engraved inscription Discovery of America to the bottom, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel moon-style hands, four subsidiary dials indicating month combined with leap year indicator, day, date and phases of the moon combined with flying 1/5ths of a second, the heavy circular plain case with repeating slide in the band, one button operating the chronograph function and flying 1/5ths of a second and one button operating the split second chronograph function in the band, dial and movement signed
