(34 cm. x 21 cm.) inscribed ALBANIA BASIC HANDBOOK and stamped with copy number 659, containing pamphlets as follows: PART I PRE-INVASION dated AUGUST 1943, a 92-page account of Albanian history, politics, administration, geography and economics up to the Italian invasion in April 1939; PART II POST INVASION, classified SECRET, 73 pages covering events in Albania between April 1939 and August 1943, with chapters on all aspects of administration, economics, police and military institutions, collaborationists and Resistance personnel etc; SUPPLEMENT No. 1, also classified SECRET and dated NOVEMBER 1943, a 38-page list of Italian and Albanian personalities, SUPPLEMENT No. 2 dated JANUARY 1944, Copy No 590 similarly classified, entitled POLITICAL AND LOCAL DIRECTORY, 13 pages, in five parts, covering directories of political and local officials, Annexed Territories, etc., and including a General Map of Albania as in 1929, 1:500,000 scale, and a MAP SECTION containing a 1:1000,000 scale map of Albania, Southern Jugoslavia and parts of Bulgaria, Turkey and Greece as at 1915; a map of Greece, showing the southern part of Albania (also 1:1000,000 scale); a map of Albanian railways and main roads; and a map of Albanian administrative regions (undated)
