THE UPPER HALF OF A GREEN CALCITE STATUETTE OF THE GODDESS ISIS
LATE PERIOD, DYNASTY XXV-XXVI, 700-600 B.C.
Carved with back pillar, the goddess wears tripartite wig with diadem, uraeus and headdress (latter broken away), and wide necklace, her right hand held up to her left breast cradles the head of the infant Horus, her face is finely modelled with delicately carved features, mounted
