Of sarcophagus form, the hinged cover with cavetto moulded edges, the front with bone shield escutcheon, on four repoussée foliate feet (later), the interior with three subsidiary rosewood covers with turned bone handles -- 11½in. (29.3cm.) wide, 7in. (17.8cm.) deep, 6in. (15.2cm.) high; and a William IV rosewood tea caddy, of sarcophagus form, with gadrooned borders and heart shaped mother-of-pearl escutcheon to the front, the interior with twin subsidiary boxes and hinged covers -- 13½in.
