painted in the Kakiemon palette with a roundel of a bird by pierced rockwork issuing flowers, on a sponged manganese ground between bands of stiff leaves, painted mark, the mounts with a ball thumbpiece, circa 1740 (cracked, flakes to enamel) -- 7.5cm. high
