Lot Essay

A similar plank seat chair is illustrated in Garvan and Hummel, fig. 17. Another plank seat chair from Lehigh County with similarly marked initials is illustrated in Garvan, p. 37, fig. 8. This chair was found in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
