A CARVED AND JOINED WALNUT CRADLE
MILLWAY VILLAGE, LANCASTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, LATE 18TH CENTURY

The arched headboard with heart-pierced crest flanked by rectangular posts with flattened ball finials above shaped sides scrolling to rectangular panelled siderails surrounding a rope tied base and enclosed at the end by a similar arched, shaped and heart-pierced foot board, all on two shaped runners, the siderails fitted with binding pulls--23 ½in. high, 30 ¾in. wide, 43 ½in. deep
