A Safavid engraved brass magic bowl
of typical form, the interior with dense engraved inscriptions within interlocking roundels, bolder incription in the centre, the exterior with a similar combination of inscriptions -- 8¾in. (22cm.) diam. 17th Century, (very minor wear).
