A Safavid silvered copper bowl
of rounded form with spreading foot, decorated around the rim with a continuous band of calligraphy and scrolling foliage, and a further band of shaped cartouches containing animals below -- 9½in. (24.1cm.) diam. signed Mohammad Ali, 16th Century; an Indian copper ewer decorated with two circular panels of birds -- 11¼in. (28.5cm.) high; a Syrian tinned jar and cover -- 8¼in. (21cm.) high; and three Cairoware bowls of typical decoration -- 6¼in. (16cm.) max., 19th Century, (old wear).
