AN IMPRESSIVE RUBY AND DIAMOND NECKLACE
The centre section set with sixteen vari-cut ruby and circular-cut diamond clusters, enhanced throughout with marquise-cut diamonds, to the circular and marquise-cut diamond floral backchain with ruby and diamond clasp, mounted in platinum, 41.0 cm.
With certificate 35125 dated 16/2/00 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that while all three rubies tested are of Burmese origin, the 3.90 and 3.52 carat rubies show no indications of thermal enhancement, whilst the 2.60 carat ruby is a treated ruby with clarity enhanced by coloured oil
