All the following bottles with original cellar mould, labelled with original 'period paper' labels. Original corks. They either have original lead capsules mostly with varying degrees of corrosion and ,
some slightly damaged, new replacement capsules have been applied where necessary
Marques de Riscal--Vintage 1945
Rioja. Bottled at the Bodega
Tasting note: Black in colour and extremely aromatic with wonderful berry and mint aromas, it was full-bodied and tannic, with masses of fruit and flavour. The '45 had the polish of a 53-year-old wine, but still showed youthful and energetic character. Moreover it was a dead ringer for a first-growth such as Château Latour from the great vintages of the 1940's. James Suckling. Wine Spectator 31st July 1998.
