With skeletonized nickel-finished lever movement, 45 jewels, 21K gold three quarter rotor, swan neck regulator, finely engraved balance bridge, the silvered matt dial with applied baton numerals, luminous lance hands, large double window for date, subsidiary seconds, in circular case with downturned lugs, glazed back, date change button in the band, together with a platinum Lange buckle, A. Lange & Söhne original fitted presentation box and outer packaging, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

The long-awaited automatic Langematic was launched in 1997 and completes the current collection which comprised until then only hand-wound models.

The 'three quarter rotor' can be thought of as the visual counterpart to the typical Lange 'three quarter plate' movement of the watches with hand-winding.
