drypoint, circa 1893, on blue-grey laid paper watermark indistinct, fourth (final) state from plate 1 only, with the three strokes added to the neck of the banjo, before the addition of the second, aquatint, plate, which was printed in colors, signed in pencil, with full margins, a small stain in the dress at bottom, pale mat staining, a pale stain in the right margin, a few tiny losses at the sheet edges, otherwise in good condition, framed
