Of tall waisted form, decorated with a cluster of three sprial motifs at the centre and vertical dotted lines, a few similarly spaced lines on the reverse, fine greenish patina
Cf. a bell of the same size and similarly decorated, collected by Captain Dyer in Afikpo in 1902, in the Vancouver Museum (Cole, H.M., and Aniakor, C.C., Igbo Arts. Community and Cosmos, UCLA, 1984, p.53, fig.78).
