The male figure standing holding in his hands the wings of a flying fish, its mouth to the figure's chin, a further fish to each side and another at his back, the male figure with elaborate painted ornament to the face, remains of fibre beard, pierced septum to the nose and pierced lobes to the ears with tall feather-like projections above, the coiffure with inset wood sticks painted white and red, a painted kapkap on his chest, standing in the mouth of a large fish with painted black and red scales to the body and curving fins to the sides, small fins at the back, painted red, black and white, the figure, fish and birds with inset shell opercula eyes, on cylindrical post
