An Imari silver-mounted jug and a bowl
Qianlong, the silver Dutch, 1858
The pear-shaped body moulded with a spout set at a right angle to the handle, raised on a short splayed foot, decorated with freely trailing stems of chrysanthemum and peony, the flat domed cover with silver hinge and shell-shaped thumb-piece (some frittings), 18.5 cm. high; and a bowl. 22 cm. diam. (rim crack)
