A four-case lacquer inro
Edo Period (Early 19th Century)
Decorated in gold and iroe hiramakie, takamakie and togidashi on a nashiji and kinpun ground with a shaped panel to each side, enclosing two cranes below a pine tree and two minogame in a rocky landscape to the reverse, surrounded by gyobu nashiji borders, red-brown interiors, fundame rims (very slight old wear along the edges)
