Stamped CM, Geneva, circa 1830
Of rectangular form with rounded angles, the hinged cover engraved with a view of the harbour of Geneva, in scrolling foliate partly blue enamelled border within trelliswork, the upper rim with engraved leaves against blue enamel and gold stripe background, the sides decorated with C-scrolls and flowers, the base with an engine-turned pattern in scrolling foliate border and centered by a Chinese mask surrounded by foliage
