A fine fan painted in the style of Zucci, the chickenskin leaf painted with a classical scene, a frieze of ships and vignette painted to simulate jaspar ware, framed with sequins, the verso of paper, painted with a lady in classical dress, bagpipes and a quiver, and six landscape vignettes and inscribed am lower left, the ivory sticks finely carved and pierced with shipping, partly backed in ivory stained blue to simulate jaspar ware - 9in. (24cm.), late 18th century (slightly worn)
