Lot Essay

Imperial Airways contributed to the cost of tooling for this model. Although the complete aircraft appeared as a self-build kit, the factory-built model can only have been made with one wing, following the specification sheet, as the model fits neatly into the box, with the cutaway edged in red. It is probable that very few of these models have survived.
