Two Tang pottery models of horses
standing four square on rectangular bases, wearing saddled and saddle cloths, their heads turned slightly to their left, red, black and cream pigments remaining -- 14¾in. (37.5cms) and 15in. (38cms) high, (some restoration to legs).

Thermoluminescence Test number C100f73 taken from the smaller horse is consistent with the dating of this lot. (2)
