Lot Essay

Sara Gustava Adelaide Schön (1774/9-1857), sister of the reputable Stockholm wholesale dealer Johann Schön, married in 1796 her brother's employee, the businessman and local politician Hans Niclas Schwan (1764-1829). Their son Johan Gustav Schwan married his first cousin Augusta Eleonora Schön.
