Envelope-shaped rectangular gold box with convex front and rear sides, cover and base with rectangular panels enamelled in translucent blue on an engine-turned ground, within foliate taille d'épargne borders, the cover with an overlapping lyre-shaped matted gold panel simulating an envelope, stamped with trailing folliage and set with split-pearls and a turquoise, the musical movement released by a lever at the rear side
