A GEORGE III MAHOGANY SIDEBOARD
Crossbanded overall in tulipwood and inlaid with boxwood lines, the bowfronted rectangular top above a central frieze drawer inlaid with foliate spandrels, above a central arch with foliage spandrels flanked on the left by two part mahogany-lined drawers and on the right by a deep drawer, on square tapering legs headed by hung husk-trails and spade feet, inscribed in chalk to the inside '2/09' and inscribed in paint 'A.K.', the bottom board of the right-hand drawer partially replaced, with restored crack to the top, later legs, the marquetry and inlay probably late Victorian, probably North Country
