Banded overall in satinwood and inlaid with boxwood and ebonised lines, the bowed breakfront rectangular top with a turned brass gallery, above two central frieze drawers inlaid with three oval panels, flanked on the right by an oval panelled hinged drawer and on the left by a conforming hinged door, the sides with conforming panels, the left-hand side hinged and concealing a cupboard, on turned tapering stop-fluted legs headed by reeded pilasters with acanthus capitals, on pinched tapering feet, the frieze drawer lock stamped 'I. BRAMAH/PATENT' below a crown, with remains of depository label to the reverse, the left-hand cupboard previously with shelves
