Title of volume I printed in red and black, engraved title-vignette in all 3 volumes, 17 engraved maps, all but one large and folding, 16 large and folding bird's-eye town views, 90 portraits and 123 plates, several folding, including a few smaller bird's-eye town views, 16 engravings in the text, half-title in volume I. (Occasional minor browning.) Contemporary mottled calf, gilt spines (hinges rubbed, upper hinge of vol. III cracked).

A HANDSOME COPY. Probably the third edition of this fine book illustrating the province of Flanders. Among the engraved town views are those of Ghent, Nieuwpoort, Bruges and Ypres. Brunet V, 121. (3)
