Stamped MIGEON, Circa 1740
The arched crestrail centered by a flowerhead flanked by leaves, the handrests craved with foliate clasps and shells, either side of the serpentine seat-rail carved with a rocaille flanked by acanthus, the rear also carved, on cabriole legs, headed by a shell and foliate clasp, with acanthus-sheathed scroll feet, with maroon leather squab-cushion
