possibly by Max Kohl, with burnished-steel axis and pinions, the steel rod with balance weight, located on a swivel compass joint and slender tapering pillar support, the heavy iron stand with copperised decoration, inscribed with inventory details, the bar and gyro mechanism -- 18½in. (47cm.) long
