With beaded strap handles and collar, finely painted with a woodland sprite leaning on a branch observing paired butterflies, reserved on the gilt enriched foliate ground, on socle foot and square base

Lot Essay
Antonin Boullemier specialized in painting children as nymphs in a delicate sentimental style. He left Sèvres in 1870 and joined Mintons in 1872, where he continued until his death in 1900.
