An 8-inch (20.3cm.) diameter terrestrial table globe made up of twelve chromolithograophed gores, the equatorial and Greenwich meridian graduated in degrees, the ecliptic not shown, the oceans showing ocean currents and steamship routes with ports of arrival and departure and distances in nautical miles, the continents wih nation states variously and brightly coloured and showing rivers, towns, cities and railway lines, British possessions shown in red, some mountains shown with heights in feet, Leningrad also labelled (Petrograd) (some discolouration and abrasion), with unengraved brass meridian half-circle, raised on a baluster turned ebonised column and circular plinth base -- 15½in. (39.4cm.) high
