A Bristol silver-shaped oval sauceboat Circa 1750, Benjamin Lund's factory, raised 'Bristoll' mark beneath an enamelled leaf and incised R
With a double scroll loop and green and red lamprey handle, the exterior moulded with pink, green and yellow floral garlands supended from a dolphin and puce ribbon-tied scallop-shells, the oval foot moulded and painted with another series of encircling garlands, the interior with a central spray of iron-red and puce peony with green leaves beneath a green diaper-pattern border reserved with oval cartouches enclosing flowerheads (two slight chips to rim at right of handle, very slight wear to enamels to interior)
