THREE LACQUERED WOOD NETSUKE
Edo period (18th/19th century)
A netsuke of a standing shojo holding a fan, decorated in gold, silver and red lacquer on a dark brown ground, signed on the reverse of the robe Keisai; a polychrome wood netsuke of Otafuku and throwing mame to cast out oni at Setsubun, while an oni hides behind her, with signature on the base Shuzan in a rectangular reserve; and a red-lacquered netsuke of Bukan Zenshi beside his tiger
