Edo Period (19th century)
The first of red lacquer, carved through in places to a yellow ground, with a design of quails, mallow, chrysanthemums and other plants, gilt metal fitting, signed towards the base on a rounded rectangular reserve Horan(?); the second of pale boxwood carved in low relief with the Shichifukujin [Seven Gods of Good Fortune], the stopper carved with some of their emblems, signed on the base in incised characters Horan to [carved by Horan]
