Modelled by J.J. Kändler, the monkey with incised fur markings and brown face, hands and feet and grey muzzle, seated on its haunches, with two young, one bending backward to form the spout, the other forming the handle and holding a fruit, the top forming the cover, on an oval base enriched with gilding (the cover a restored replacement, one hand and one young monkey's tail lacking, chip to one ear of mother monkey and fruit)
