A Meissen figure of a dancing peasant woman
Circa 1750, blue crossed swords mark at back, incised 10. to base
Modelled by J.J. Kändler, turned to the left holding her flowered apron and with her left knee raised, in yellow-lined pink hat and blue jacket, puce bodice and puce-edged pink skirt, before rockwork on a circular gilt scroll-moulded base (slight chips to corners of apron and bows on sleeves, index finger of right hand lacking, part of bow beneath chin lacking, glazed chip to right shoulder)
