Circa 1755, blue crossed swords mark
Modelled by J.J. Kändler, with Bacchus scantily clad in a lion's skin, seated astride a barrel flanked by putti with flasks and a glass, the reverse with a scantily draped nymph seated beside a basket of fruit with a Bacchic putto garlanded in vine and riding a goat at her side on a shaped gilt scroll-moulded base (repairs to Bacchus's right shoulder, her right leg, one putto's legs and left arm, the other putto's right hand and goblet, repair round base of barrel, crack to base and some chipping to extremities)
