A Meissen silver-mounted kakiemon quatrefoil baluster jug and cover
Circa 1730, Dreher's cross and four dots, blue enamel crossed swords mark, the mounts slightly later
Painted with phoenix, perched and in flight among flowering shrubs issuing from banded hedges, the cover and handle with flowering plants, the hinged mount with shell thumbpiece (chip to cover and foot, slight crack to cover and down one flute approximately 3in. long)
