An ormolu-mounted Viennese enamel and ebonised table cabinet
Second half 19th Century
The stepped top surmounted by a two-handled urn with pineapple finial, inset with twelve enamel panels depicting classical figures and ruins in pastoral landscapes, and with a lidded urn to each corner, above a pair of doors each with a rectangular panel depicting mythological characters in Arcadian landscapes, opening to reveal a further two panels to the reverse sides and five drawers, each with a panel depicting classical buildings and ruins, the sides and back with further large panel, the corners each with a faux marble column with Corinthian capital, above a lower frieze with a further eleven smaller enamel panels, on spreading feet, minor damages
