A Steiff centre seam teddy bear
with golden mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced clipped snout, remains of black stitched nose backed with black felt, black stitched mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed shaped limbs, felt pads, card and felt lined feet and hump --20in. (51cm.) tall, circa 1908 (lacks button, lacks left eye, left paw pad recovered, moth damage to remaining three original pads, wear and loss of mohair to forehead, outer arms, tummy, lower back, back of legs, tips of paws and feet, stuffing shifted from ankles, slight overall wear)
